Quixtar Review
Quixtar is what was formerly known as
Amway.
Recently, Amway stopped accepting any new sign ups in Amway and
instead directed people to sign up in their new re-vamped Quixtar
program. Amway began in 1959 with two young
entrepreneurs -- Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel. Their concept for
an innovative business opportunity, centered around
person-to-person marketing, established itself as a leader among
one of today's fastest-growing industries
Amway pioneered Network Marketing and
just about every company in existence owes them a lot of gratitude
to Amway for paving the way. Over the years so many have been involved in
Amway (3 million currently) that some people have found it harder to
Market than other, newer companies. The last few years most of
the new people entering the Network Marketing industry have been influenced by Richard Poe's book "Wave 4". He contends that the new
person should demand a Wave 4 compensation plan.
This new trend didn't help Amway but set the
stage for Quixtar, a real power house. A Wave 4 compensation plan is one that
puts the new person in profit with only 4 or 5 customers. Almost
every new Network Marketing company now uses this kind of a comp plan.
Additionally, the internet has leveled the playing field for new
people coming into the industry. Poe also discusses how a good web
site can do all the "selling" for you.
Amway has reacted to this is a big
way by rolling out a new division called
Quixtar and eliminating the old
Amway opportunity.
Nutrilite
has become a best seller! This new
division received all the press and hoopla that you would expect
from a giant in the industry such as Amway, but it got off to a low
start as it was so different than anything they had done before. Now however, Quixtar offers a very robust web site for
distributors, customers and members.
Other web sites and opportunities collect your info before letting
you in like

You'll notice that it asked you for your
name and email. This information is sent to the distributor that
owns the site. Additionally, you're able to join free (no purchase
required) and they notify you when you have a guaranteed check. This
is an example of how most online business opportunities are working
today.
Quixtar requires that you have an IBO number and key code to insure
you have actually talked to someone before you enter.
